The Toronto Raptors are coming off a disappointing season last year and looking to improve. They picked up veteran all-star Jermaine O'Neal which will give them a low post presence, toughness, and well needed defensive and offensive rebounding. The raptors also re-signed restricted free agent point guard Jose Calderon to multi year deal. The raptors continue to sign talented European players, as they pick up a very skilled Croatian guard Roko Ukic. Chris Bosh just won a gold medal with the USA men's national team and looked sharp. Hopefully Bosh can carry some of his gold medal momentum into the up coming 08/09 NBA season. The raps are also bringing back Andrea Bargnani, Joey Graham, Jason Kapono, Jamario Moon and Anthony Parker. Toronto has also added high flying swing man Hassan Adams and the "Aussie Shaq" Nathan Jawai to their roster. The raptors have added some much needed defence to their playing style with the addition of JO. If coach Sam Mitchell can get all the players on the raps to come together and play like a team the Raptors will be a power house in the east.

I have been arguing back and forth with my friends for awhile now about who is better between Chris Paul and Deron Williams.

Deron Williams

Height: 6-3
Weight: 205

Chris Paul

Height:6-0

Weight:175

Deron Williams is bigger, stronger, and a better shooter then CP3. He is a more Physical player and doesn't mind taking the ball right at the defender.

Chris Paul is quicker, faster, and more agile then Deron Williams. He can weave in and out of defenders and finish very well.

They are both very good defenders but i would say CP3 is probably a little better then D-Will on the defensive end.

D-Will is a better shooter and has more range on his shot than CP3.

Chris Paul Averaged 21.1 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 11.6 apg, and 2.7 spg in the 2007-08 season

Deron Williams Averaged 18.8 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 10.5 apg, and 1.1 spg in the 07/08 season

They are both outstanding passers and they both have their share of amazing crossovers and even better finishes.

Chris Paul is one of the best players in the world when he is in the open court. He uses his quicks to blow by defenders and get to the rim at will. CP3 is also in my opinion the best ally oop passer in the NBA which helps when he gets in the open court with Tyson Chandler or David West

Deron Williams Is also a beast on the break. D-will would rather drive the ball right at the defender and take the contact when he gets in the open floor.

Chris Paul is more athletic than D-Will judging by his speed, quickness and jumping ability. D-will makes up for CP3's speed and quickness with strength. He is very effective at throwing his body around and using it to get to the rim at will.

They are both amazing players and in my opinion the top 2 Pg's in the NBA. The question is who do you think is better?
